Construction Updates

New Well Project

The New Well Project is funded through a grant from the Department of Water Resources, through the Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (IRMWP). The well will be located near the existing well behind the Mono City Fire Hall, and will fulfill requirements for a redundant water supply in Mono City. 

The project is currently in the design phase and construction of the new well is anticipated for 2026. 

Waterline Replacement Project

The Waterline Replacement project is funded through the Department of Water Resources drought relief program, with the intent of replacing Mono City's aging and leaking water mains throughout the community. 

The Design Phase of the project is complete. The project is expected to go out to bid in the first quarter of 2025. Construction of the project is anticipated for the summer/fall of 2025.
